Spread the responsible word

Aboard our bus ‘Teddy’ are a mass of real coffee mugs, glass jars, random bottles, various keep cups and a mountain of metal straws. Whether parked onsite or on the road we like to share our ‘say NO to single use’ slogan. Whether it be a Council event, school festival, onsite auction or private party we encourage you to ditch disposables and the real thing!

For events of all sizes we have formed collaborations with Waste Ninja and Ruzi both businesses helping reduce the waste we contribute to landfill. Waste Ninja can supply and collect bin especially designed for disposal of all plant based items and food scraps. They compost these items at various locations around NSW. Whilst Ruzi can supply events with reusable cups, plates and cutlery that they collect and wash post event. They too supply noticeable ‘RUZI’ return bins that after the event they collect onsite and wash ready for another event.

Stock cups that you can buy

Whilst we have on board our own colourful mug library if you engage us to do an event or ongoing pop-ups and wish to have company branding on mugs & glassware this can be done. Lead time on these requests is 6-8 weeks. Please note there will be an additional one off setup cost. We also sell ‘I’m a keeper’ keep cups by the change creators.

Give coffee grinds to customers

Coffee grinds are a gardeners dream and can be added to compost to add nitrogen to the pile, or straight into the soil as a fertiliser? Why let all that goodness end up in landfill?

Our customers are welcome to take a bag home with them. It’s just another reason our community loves us and our roaming cafe.

BYO bucket so we can give the grind away!

Straws seriously suck!

While we have ditched those nasty plastic straws we have chosen to offer only metal straws aboard the bus. With every cold drink purchased you have the option to buy for ever and ever your own metal straw to take with you to work, school or sport! Say ‘no’ to straws helps our oceans and waterways and ensures our marine life stay happy & healthy!
